Welcome to The Paper Panda! On this site you can find a compilation of my experience as an origami and paper artist and the necessary information for any inquiries.
Hello! I am Gauri Gupta, the artist behind thepaperpanda. I am a mother of two, based in Singapore. After discovering my love for paper, I began origami and paper art professionally in 2011, now having over 13 years of experience in this field. I love panda bears and I love art hence the name. I enjoy sharing my passion for paper art with you all.
The Art of Origami uses mathematical and logical concepts in a creative manner, like folding paper symmetrically to convert a plain sheet of paper into an amazing work of art. Besides Origami I also do paper sculptures, big size paper flowers and lots of other forms of paper art.
Origami workshop sessions are conducted in a fun interactive environment which involves a lot of interaction with the participants. Thorough guidance and assistance is provided. Participants are given the chance to explore their own creativity too. The sessions aim to provide a feeling of satisfaction and achievement to all participants, bringing home their own handmade piece of art.
Origami sessions for kids, adults, corporates, anybody who wants to try as this art has no age limit. It has easiest to most complex models suiting the requirement of individual age groups and folders.
Trying to provoke curiosity, imagination and creativity in our sessions.
They learn to follow instructions yet use their creativity and imagination and both their logical and artistic brains are on work. Giving individual attention and guidance if required but at the same time give them freedom to use their logics and creativity that is what true art flows from.
During team sessions, particularly in corporate workshops, creating visibly boosts the team spirit and provides participants a chance to form stronger bonds with one another.
